Amazing Staple Remover

This thing is AMAZING!!! I was a classroom teacher for over 30 years. I have removed zillions of staples from bulletin boards and papers. I wished I knew this thing existed back then. It would have saved me HOURS.

I’m pulling up old carpet and the carpet pad. When the guys put down the carpet pad… they must have been paid by the staple. They used WAY more than they needed.

For the first few carpet pads I’ve pulled up, I’ve used a screwdriver, plyers, and wire cutters. It’s a job I HATE. I thought, there must be a better way. I Googled pulling carpet staples and saw a guy using a staple puller. So, I went to Amazon to see if I could find it. AND… woo hoo, there it was. It seemed a bit expensive, $12.00… but what the heck… I decided to give it a try.

It is absolutely amazing. You slide it under the staple and it has a little gripper that grabs on to the staple. You just lift up and the staple is out. This tool paid for itself in the first few minutes of use. If you need to pull staples, this is the tool for you!

When I was writing the blog post, I looked for the staple puller I had purchased at Amazon. There are a bunch available. DANG! I purchased the first one… but it looks like the others would work just as well.
